Lara and Bonar Jonata produce fresh, authentic organic tempeh, right here in Brisbane using Australian organic soybeans, grown in Northern NSW. Their products are handmade in small batches at the Food Connect kitchen, five minutes from their home in Rocklea - now that's low food miles! They began making tempeh as the perfect food for their vegan-Indonesian family and spent years researching production techniques to make it a commercial venture.
Tempeh is a traditional Indonesian food product, made from cultured whole soybeans. It's high protein and low fat. It's good for you and it tastes great. Totally Tempeh is freshly-made the traditional way, with no preservatives or heat-treating.
