 Food Connect Project

Food Connect is a dynamic, farmer direct, community food distribution enterprise operating in South East Queensland. We provide genuine food for families, a decent living for farmers, support the nurturing of the land and the establishment of local community networks.

The Food Connect Project is based upon the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model where a number of families (subscribers) pay and provide a stable market for a number of farmers who are growing genuine food. Most of our food is ethically grown and is sourced from within a 5 hour radius of Brisbane. We are able to support small local farmers as well as those involved in local producers associations. The food is then delivered to City Cousins who volunteer their time to be the distribution point for their local area.
